To Give and Receive

Above is a collection of things I received today. First I voted, then I received the sticker, and then on impulse I went into a nearby Goodwill store. Inside I found some literal treasures, and it was my lucky day for discounts. The roses adorn the Goodwill bag I bought for 99 cents. When I got home and checked our mailbox, I found an envelope that I was expecting from Southwest Indian Foundation. Since November is Native American Heritage Month, I wanted to give my support to Native American art. I studied their catalog and found these unique cardinal bone earrings. The artist is Lonny Cloud.

I voted for one candidate, and I also gave a write in vote for Mother Nature in another area, and I voted yes and no for several add on propositions.

If you have not voted yet, I encourage you to go and do it. All of our voices need to be heard.

Katherine J Krein

My name is Katherine J. Krein. I lost my father in June of 2013, and then I lost my mother in November of the same year. After they both died I went through a mind-warping number obsession that has taken me years to control. This is my story. It is now 2026. I still use this site to post some poems and thoughts. My obsession has faded, however, I still notice the numbers. Faith, hope, and love is what guides me now.
